Stefano Stoppa (born in 2001, Venice) engages in a diverse artistic practice encompassing performances, installations, graphics, and videos. Within his body of work, Stoppa confronts the varied modes of constructing personal identities prevalent in contemporary society. Through playful manipulation of his own self-concept, Stefano explores phenomena such as self-exploitation, hustle culture, self-improvement, and the realm of online mental health in an imaginative, often ironic, and unpredictable narrative.
In 2023, he conclused his bachelor degree in Multimedia Arts from IUAV University in Venice.
Presently, Stefano, with Nicolò Brunetta, Erica Toffanin and Matteo Rattini, is working in Ipercubo collective, contributing to the curation and production of both editorial and artistic projects. Is is also an artist at the Bevilacqua La Masa Atelier at Palazzo Carminati.
