Tracciamento di segni: anonimi su la verità della poesia
«The writer cannot know what images he evokes in the souls of others;» But neither did the reader before us.
Not only does the writer evoke images, but, in the case of public books, previous readers also create them. Signs and notes forgotten in the paper show us elements we have ignored, creating a further relationship beyond that between writer and reader. These signs introduce an intruder into the reading. A further parallel book is therefore created.
The precedent quote and the present tracing of signs was conducted on: Paul Celan, La verità della poesia «il meridiano» e altre prose, Piccola Biblioteca Einaudi; borrowed from a library. The semi-removed underlinings by anonymous have been rewritten as faithfully as possible.
